About the Role Capgemini is seeking a Program Manager / Director - Data & AI Transformation Programs with Banking Domain to lead large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across Data, Analytics, Digital, and GenAI. This leader will drive end-to-end program delivery, manage multimillion-dollar engagements, and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while ensuring commercial success and delivery excellence. What You'll Do
- Lead complex, multi-year Data, Analytics, Digital, and GenAI transformation programs for enterprise clients.
- Manage delivery of large deals ($1M-$5M+), ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and meeting quality standards.
- Drive the full program lifecycle: planning, estimation, execution, governance, and closure.
- Establish and track program KPIs, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Set and manage client expectations effectively, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
- Commercial Management & Growth: Lead proposal development, solution estimation, and business case creation; identify opportunities for account expansion and drive incremental revenue growth; own budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
- Scope & Change Management: Proactively identify scope creep and deviations from agreed deliverables; define and execute change management governance, including: Creation and management of change orders; effort re-estimation and impact assessment; influencing clients to align on revised scope, timelines, and commercials; write detailed SOW and Change orders; ensure contractual compliance.
- Estimation & Planning: Lead solution sizing, effort estimation, and resource planning, often within aggressive timelines; develop comprehensive delivery plans, including dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Global Team & Resource Management: Manage large, geographically distributed teams (onshore/offshore) delivering complex programs; optimize resource allocation across locations to enhance efficiency; build, mentor, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Data & Technology Leadership: Drive programs across key areas: Data Governance, Data Management, and GenAI initiatives to enable transformation. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading large-scale Data, Analytics, Digital, GenAI transformation programs for enterprise clients, ideally within the Banking domain.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver multimillion-dollar engagements ($1M-$5M+) on time, within budget, with a strong focus on quality.
- Strong program management lifecycle capabilities (planning, estimation, execution, governance, closure) with KPI tracking and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders; align scope, deliverables, and timelines across business and technology.
- Commercial management skills: proposal development, estimation, business case creation, growth opportunity identification, and P&L ownership.
- Change management capability: scope management, change orders, re-estimation; ability to write SOWs and ensure contractual compliance.
- Estimation and planning expertise: sizing, resource planning, and delivery planning under aggressive timelines; risk mitigation.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams (onshore/offshore) and optimizing resources.
- Data & Technology leadership capabilities, with emphasis on Data Governance.
