Job title: Program Manager

About the Role Program Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of federal construction contracts and capture efforts for Mountain Point. This role will manage a team of Project Managers, ensure delivery of client objectives, maintain compliance with federal regulations, and drive growth through business development initiatives. The position reports to the Director of Construction Operations and will work across multiple states.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and oversight for a portfolio of federal contracts and programs, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers; conduct program reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor program performance with appropriate tools; identify and resolve issues; manage risks.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate requirements; maintain quality control/quality assurance.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for government clients and stakeholders on program matters.
  • Lead or support business development, capture efforts, and proposal development; build relationships with government stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and reporting; present status to senior leadership.
  • Manage subcontractor relations, change orders, RFP responses, and compliance with government documents; review design-build milestones.
  • Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and scheduling; assist Contract Manager with subcontract packages and required documents.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in federal program management, contract execution, team leadership, and government business development.
  • Experience with capture management and proposal development.
  • Ability to interface with client, program, accounting, contracting, subcontracting, legal, and human resources teams.
  • Construction industry experience; knowledge of IT and physical security upgrades, MEPs, demolition, civil/utility earthwork (as described).
  • Willingness to travel; ability to operate across multiple states.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading multi-state federal contracting programs.
  • Experience with pre-construction services and related construction disciplines.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 USD per year.
  • Benefits include company holidays, paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and 401K with company match.
