The Program Delivery Governance Lead for the Stars Enablement Team will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing governance structures and meeting forums that drive improvements in Stars measure performance and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with a small team, this role will continuously enhance and lead governance processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. The Program Delivery Lead addresses issues of diverse scope and complexity, applying independent judgment to deliver results that support Healthy Quality and Stars initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Own and enhance the governance process for the Stars organization, as part of the governance team. And with leadership input and support

Strategically design, implement, and maintain governance structures and forums to drive improvement in Stars and quality metrics.

Coordinate with finance partners to help organize the Stars OpEx and Admin budgets

Lead governance meetings, facilitate decision-making, and ensure effective documentation and communication of outcomes.

Review, analyze, and report on the results of programs and governance activities, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Advise executives and senior leadership on governance-related matters, contributing to the development of functional and segment-specific strategies.

Implement and monitor changes to governance processes, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability to organizational needs.

Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues with minimal supervision.

Collaborate across business units to promote alignment, share best practices, and drive accountability for governance standards.

Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to governance and Stars program management.

Effectively identifies key decision points and understands when to properly escalate and ensure the right levels of leadership are present for decision making.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and proactively communicating/pivoting when changes to agenda or audience members present for decision making are needed.

Remain organized while managing multiple initiatives and hold DRI’s accountable to follow-through on key action items/asks from Senior leadership.

Regularly interfaces with executives, leadership, and stakeholders at all levels.

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree
-
7 or more years of experience in program delivery, governance, project management, audit, Stars and/or quality
-
Demonstrated comfort working with budgets and financial resources
-
Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and driving organizational change
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-
Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
-
Experience presenting to large groups and engage senior stakeholders
-
Preferred Qualifications
-
Knowledge and/or experience within the Stars Organization, Risk Adjustment and/or Provider
-
PMP or CAPM Certification
-
Lean or Six Sigma certification

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$115,200 - $158,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
