Job title: Program Coordinator

About the Role Part-time Program Coordinator position funded by a grant within Foundations for Success. Reports to the Assistant Director; responsible for eligibility, coaching, participant support, and employer liaison across Atlantic Cape locations to help participants progress through training, job search and re-employment, with a one-year follow-up.

What You'll Do

  • Determine grant eligibility for prospective participants
  • Administer prerequisite testing for participants
  • Serve as the program liaison for participants and Atlantic Cape
  • Provide coaching and support; develop personalized activity and training plans
  • Communicate with participants and update IEPs throughout the program
  • Use technology to facilitate and record participant engagement and coaching
  • Act as the re-employment liaison between participants and employers to match job opportunities to the participants' plan
  • Conduct and record program follow-up for one year; assist in mitigating obstacles during training, job search and re-employment
  • Monitor workforce trends (demand occupations and employer needs within the grant servicing area)
  • Develop and maintain employer relationships
  • Other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Associate's degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years minimum working experience in a mentoring or advising role
  • Competencies and Skills: Bilingual preferred; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce CRM; GoToMeeting, Skype, and Zoom; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work independently and make sound decisions; excellent written and oral communication; ability to work day, evening or weekend hours as required
  • Supplemental information: This position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and may require duties at any Atlantic Cape location

Compensation & Benefits

  • Not disclosed; grant funded, part-time (max 26 hours/week); projected to end June 30, 2027
  • Duties may be performed at Atlantic Cape locations with flexible scheduling
