Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December 2019.

Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must have been on CONUAS 6 for at least two years or applicants who are on Senior Lecturer cadre who have publishing consistently are qualified to apply as Professor after not less than 10 years' teaching and research experience in a university.
- Candidates must also possess scholarly publications in high-impact journals, both locally and internationally, have experience in grantsmanship, demonstrate ability to initiate and direct new research efforts, and provide mentorship to junior academics, considerable administrative experience and postgraduate supervision.
