Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must meet the minimum requirements for the respective ranks as prescribed by the National Universities Commission (NUC), as summarized below:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with the appropriate number of years of university teaching and research experience, a strong record of quality publications, and evidence of academic leadership.
• Applicants for Sabbatical appointments must be serving Professors in recognized universities and must obtain release from their institutions.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies and proficiency in digital teaching tools will be added advantages.
