Professional Senior, Engineering - Airworthiness

About the Role Bombardier seeks a Senior Engineering - Airworthiness to lead regulatory activities for new aircraft designs and safety certification, collaborate with Airworthiness and certification teams, and provide strategic regulatory guidance across programs. What You'll Do

• Represent the regulatory authority for approvals and continued safety of Bombardier products.
• Lead logistics of internal/external certification activity; coordinate Authority papers (IP, CM, CRI, CAI).
• Liaise with certifying government authorities; provide regulatory guidance to Bombardier disciplines.
• Collect and disposition Lessons Learned with Knowledge Domains for NPD projects.
• Coordinate solution development for complex certification problems leveraging BES; perform RO-M estimates for technical studies.
• Support Strat Tech team on certification guidance; develop Means of Compliance (MoC).
• Prepare inputs to NPA's; advise Programs, Contracts, Customer Support and CARB.
• Support Safety team in A/C Level Safety, Reliability and Security processes; triage AOG issues when necessary.
• Coordinate program change process; optimize PCR cycle times. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 8–10 years aerospace experience, preferably in Airworthiness.
• Aircraft Airworthiness/ Certification experience with government authorities and certification regulations.
• Strong Project Engineering competencies and understanding of aircraft functionality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; bilingual in French and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Documentum and eRoom; good Internet skills.
