Job title: Professional QA Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Professional QA Engineer to develop key projects for our Software Products offering, the advanced and proven solution for Automotive OEMs and Suppliers. You will be responsible for QA activities throughout the project life cycle, working closely with project managers, architects, and development/peer QA engineers in the Solution Engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Design/execute test for automotive projects
- Test environment installation/setup (Client side and Server side)
- Build/develop automation test
- Analysis defect/problems and test report
- Contribute to improve dev/test environment and quality delivery/maintenance workflow
- Assist in Software development/testing of Technical Support knowledge base through contributing to documentation and issue resolution tracking
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3+ years of experience in testing complex client/server solutions
- Ability to run manual tests and implement automation
- Knowledge and willingness to work with AI tools
- Basic knowledge coding (C / Java and scripting)
- Knowledge in Linux hands-on, networking
- Independent, quick learner, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as a team member
- Native level Japanese
- Comprehensive English skills (meeting, reporting and collaboration)
Nice to Have
- Proficient in GitHub as a development platform: branching strategies, PR workflows, Issues, GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- Knowledge and experience in using JUnit, Cucumber, JSystem, Selenium, JMeter
- Experience & knowledge of DB – Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL, Elasticsearch
- Experience with Cloud Services like AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
