About the Role Support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of IDB-supported health projects, including Avança Saúde SP in São Paulo, with a focus on impact evaluation and cross-team alignment. The role sits in the Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Division and contributes to digital health transformation and health systems strengthening. What You'll Do
- Coordinate the day-to-day management of activities related to the implementation and impact evaluations of IDB supported projects.
- Support the preparation of terms of reference, review of proposals and negotiation of products related to the evaluations.
- Support the preparation, monitoring, and updating of workplans, timelines, deliverables, and implementation schedules.
- Facilitate coordination and communication among government counterparts, implementing partners, consultants, technical teams, and evaluation teams.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, document key decisions, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Support the logistics and coordination of data collection, field activities, stakeholder consultations, and implementation monitoring.
- Support the management of contracts and deliverables of products related to the evaluations including providing inputs for the assessment of deliverables.
- Track progress of implementation and evaluation activities, identifying risks, delays, or operational issues that may require follow-up.
- Support the preparation of technical inputs, presentations, progress reports, meeting summaries, and other documentation related to the intervention and evaluation.
- Ensure that implementation and evaluation activities are aligned with agreed protocols, timelines, and reporting requirements. What We're Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in economics, public policy, public health, epidemiology or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant research experience in quantitative methods and project evaluation in health or social sciences.
- Language: Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written) is required. Working knowledge of Spanish is preferable.
- Citizenship/Residency: You are either a citizen of Brazil or a citizen of one of IDB's 48 member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Brazil.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
- Collaboration: Ability to coordinate across government counterparts, implementing partners, consultants, technical teams, and evaluation teams. Nice to Have
