About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for Production Worker in Princeville, IL. Build your future with Volt. The Production Worker will assemble and process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner to support customer specifications for wood boxes. What You'll Do
- Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner.
- Concentrate efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications.
- Operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product, including nail guns, staplers, hammer, band cutters, bander, pallet jack, and tape measure.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Monitor quality of product being produced and notify the lead or supervisor of any issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures, rules, and regulations throughout shift.
- Fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly.
- This is a full-time opportunity. What We're Looking For
- Stand for 8 hours at one time.
- Work in different temperatures.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Bending, pushing, pulling or moving materials. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $16.00 - $16.75 per hour (USD).
