About the Role Volt is immediately hiring Production Worker in Columbia, MO. This role involves assembling and packaging products, ensuring quality, and meeting production goals on a fast-paced line. What You'll Do
- Assemble and package products according to manufacturing and quality standards
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Meet daily production goals while following all safety procedures
- Operate machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Stand and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
- Assemble, inspect, test, repair, and pack components
- Maintain workflow on a fast-paced production line
- Follow all work instructions, safety rules, and quality guidelines What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Required PPE: safety shoes and safety glasses
- Ability to stand, squat, push/pull, reach overhead, and climb a ladder
- Ability to lift up to 26 lbs occasionally and 22 lbs repetitively Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
