Job title: Production Worker - HEAVY LIFTER
About the Role The Production Worker (HEAVY LIFTER) supports Bachoco USA's Slaughter Plant Dept. 116 operations on the 1st shift, performing essential line and packaging tasks in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment. This role helps produce quality food products and maintain a clean, safe work area.
What You'll Do
- Set up/tear down workstation and line as required; sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes; label boxes per customer specifications; and maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Scale boxed product to required weight and ensure packaging accuracy.
- Stand, walk, and reach with hands/arms; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards; follow all plant procedures; this is a safety-sensitive position.
- Work in a wet/humid environment with moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; loud noise.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive packaging and line tasks.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a wet/humid environment.
- Basic packaging, labeling, weight checking, and line setup skills.
- Commitment to safety and sanitation; focus on quality.
- Punctuality and ability to work the 1st shift.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
