Job title: Production Worker - Extrusion
About the Role As a Manufacturing Production Worker - Extrusion, you will focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting extrusion production equipment to support manufacturing of multiple product types.
What You'll Do
- Run the extrusion machine according to SOP and ensure suitability for each product type.
- Check production schedules to ensure no non-FTQ due to cleaning issues.
- Verify safety items before operation and report unsafe equipment or conditions to the direct manager.
- Report daily production metrics (NG, FG, additives used, machine condition, etc.) to the production assistant for updates.
- Escalate abnormal products or unsafe problems to the Leader or Shift Leader for correction.
- Clean and maintain 5S standards at the work area.
- Support other departments as needed.
- Directly report to the Production Shift Leader.
What We're Looking For
- High school or equivalent; mechanical engineering is referable.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; powder coating experience is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
- Active and observant; able to work overtime.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to Have
- Powder coating experience (advantageous).
