Job title: Production Worker
About the Role Production Worker in Bachoco USA's Further Processing Department on the 1st shift. Responsibilities include assisting in production of high-quality food products, setting up and tearing down workstations, sorting, boxing, labeling, and packaging to meet customer specifications. This is a safety-sensitive, hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up/tear down workstation and line as required; sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes; scale boxed product to required weight; label boxes as applicable to customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area; comply with safety policies; operate in a wet/humid environment and near moving parts; be prepared to work around fumes or airborne particles; endure extreme cold and/or heat.
- Stand for long periods, walk, and reach with hands/arms; regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds.
- Participate in onboarding programs, including the 30-Day job shadowing and mentorship program.

- Comfort working in wet/humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme temperatures.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and maintain attention to quality.
