About the Role This role performs various unskilled production labor duties at Bachoco Foods locations as assigned by a supervisor. It involves working at a designated workstation, filling in for other production staff as needed, and complying with safety procedures as this is a safety-sensitive position. What You'll Do
- Work at assigned workstation or other stations with equivalent job requirements as production needs require and as assigned by supervisor.
- Fill in for other production employees due to absences, vacations, or production needs.
- Follow safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions; operate equipment and materials properly.
- No supervisory responsibilities; assist with production tasks as needed to meet goals. What We're Looking For
- Education and/or Experience: No prior experience or training required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words; print and speak simple sentences.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with limited variables.
- Physical Demands: Able to stand/walk for extended periods; regularly lift up to 75 pounds; frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling; near/far vision and depth perception.
- Work Environment: Regularly exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold; occasionally exposed to high places, chemicals, outside weather, and extreme heat; noise level is usually loud. Compensation & Benefits
