About the Role Performs various, unskilled production labor duties at Bachoco USA Foods locations as assigned by the supervisor. It is a safety-sensitive position with a Monday–Friday 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM shift and opportunities to fill in for other production staff as needed. What You'll Do
- Perform various unskilled production labor duties at assigned work stations as directed by the supervisor.
- Work at the assigned work station or other stations with equivalent requirements as production needs require and as assigned by supervisor.
- Fill in for other production employees with lesser or equivalent job requirements due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures; demonstrate professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. What We're Looking For
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize differences between words and between series of numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and use hands; regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds; comfortable working in wet and/or humid conditions, loud environment, and with moving mechanical parts.
- Safety-conscious, adaptable, dependable, and punctual; able to follow safety and security procedures and work with integrity.
