Production Worker

About the Role Join our production team to assist in producing quality chicken products in a fast-paced facility. This role involves setting up and tearing down workstation and line, receiving live birds, and ensuring humane handling and compliance with animal welfare and regulatory requirements as directed by senior management. What You'll Do

• Set up/tear down workstation & line as required
• Receive chickens before entering the production area
• Hang live birds in the shackles in a humane manner
• Rotate in position cycle as instructed
• Sort DOAs (Dead on Arrival’s) and leave on belt
• Understand Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements
• Follow directives set forth by Senior Management and maintain a safe and sanitary work area
• Stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands/arms; regularly lift/move up to 25-40 pounds
• Be aware that this is a safety-sensitive position

• Expect exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold; occasional exposure to high places, chemicals, outside weather, and extreme heat What We're Looking For
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and reach with hands/arms; capable of lifting 25-40 pounds
• Comfortable working in wet/humid conditions with loud environments and exposure to moving parts, fumes, and extreme temperatures
• Ability to understand and follow Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements
• Willingness to follow directives from Senior Management and maintain a safe, sanitary workspace
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (as stated in posting) Compensation & Benefits
