Job title: Production Worker - 2nd Shift (Slaughter Plant Dept. 105)
About the Role
Join Bachoco USA as a Production Worker on the 2nd shift in Slaughter Plant Dept. 105. You will assist in producing quality food products by performing duties across the line, setting up and tearing down workstations, handling pallets and cases, labeling, and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area.
What You'll Do
- Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
- Bring pallets to the line; verify pallets are in good condition and meet company requirements
- Apply pallet sheets as applicable
- Stack cases of product on pallets to meet customer and/or company specifications
- Tape any cases that were not taped during the normal process
- Assist Manifestor with labels on cases as needed
- Verify all cases of product have appropriate labels
- Wrap full pallets
- Use a hand or power jack to move product away from the line after proper PIE training as required and based on production needs
- Maintain the work area in a safe and sanitary manner
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25–40 pounds
- Willingness to work on 2nd shift in a wet/humid, loud environment
- Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures
- Basic palletizing, labeling, and material handling skills
- Ability to perform duties after receiving PIE training as required
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $16.25 per hour
- 2nd shift night premium: $1/hour (only for 2nd & 3rd Shift positions)
