Job title: Production Utility Technician (Athletics Control Room)
About the Role The Production Utility Technician supports Villanova Athletics Game Production by setting up, operating, and breaking down production equipment for game events. Working under the direction of the Game Director and Building Engineer, this role ensures safe, smooth production in accordance with the game script.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Game Director and Building Engineer to set up production equipment in coordination with the game script.
- Assist with selection, assembly and positioning of equipment (cameras, stands) throughout the venue.
- Maintain, clean and test all equipment and cameras to ensure they are in good working order before each event.
- Participate in pre-event coordination planning meetings.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the language of event production and current technology.
- Ensure the safety of equipment at all times; follow safety standards for audio equipment.
- Provide support to other venue areas as needed.
- Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

- 1-2 years of related engineering operation experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaborative team player who works well with others.
- Familiar with the language of event production and have working knowledge of current technology.
