Job title: Production Technician
About the Role Join Linde's Neosho, MO facility as a Production Technician. This role supports 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation, focusing on safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance through startup/shutdown, process monitoring, and maintenance readiness.
What You'll Do
- Start up and shut down equipment and processes; monitor and adjust plant operating parameters to achieve safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Perform valve line-ups accurately and safely.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Safely issue and manage permits for maintenance work.
- Operate the facility safely and efficiently, exercising sound judgment and escalating issues when needed.
- Assist with procedure development and train new employees.
- Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence; demonstrate initiative and dependability.
- Be adaptable to 12-hour shifts and collaborate within a 24/7 environment.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- More than two (2+) years of production operations experience, or an Associate Degree with previous plant operations internship experience
- Strong interest in and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of computers and common software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs
- Proficiency using hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment, and related tools
- Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Associate Degree or higher is preferred
