What You'll Do
- Work on 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F).
- Adhere to safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Achieve team production goals by meeting operational and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Fabricate, assemble, rework, and repair products per Master Work Instructions using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
- Read work orders and related documents to determine methods, sequence, and specifications.
- Lay out cutting lines on plastic materials (sheet stock, fiberglass, graphite cloth) following templates, blueprints, or sketches with measuring and marking instruments.
- Cut material to size using shears, knives, cutters, scissors, router, or saw.
- Trim, drill, ream, countersink, grind, and finish parts using templates, hand tools, and power tools.
- Repair and rework damaged or defective parts and assemblies by layup, foaming, cementing, molding, potting, casting or similar methods per MWI.
- Fit and assemble parts and attach hardware and fittings (brackets, hinges) using clamps, jigs, fixtures, power tools, and fasteners.
- Verify dimensions of parts using dial indicators, micrometers, calipers.
What We're Looking For
- Entry-level position; no prior work experience required (manufacturing experience a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs; good hand dexterity; ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Shop math and ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English.
- Must be a US Person.
Nice to Have
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
