Job title: Production Tech 2
About the Role Production Tech 2 at MKS Pressure & VM Solutions partners with Andover Production and reports to the Supervisor. The role is responsible for set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies, and may develop test specifications from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
What You'll Do
- Set up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
- Determine and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
- Soldering skills and possibly mechanical aptitude skills are required
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree, military technical training or equivalent vocational training is required
- 1+ year of related experience
- Experience testing digital and/or analog systems
- Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18.89 - $31.40 per hour (USD)
- Bonus: discretionary annual bonus determined by MKS
