Job title: Production Team Manager
About the Role The Production Team Manager in Kunshan will lead a production team and be responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost in daily operations. You will act as a process owner and ensure SOP execution, while driving performance and developing people to enable Alfa Laval's future success.
What You'll Do
- Manage Team Members and Team Leaders; set and follow up targets for the team and each employee, broken down from unit level.
- Be the process owner for safety, quality and delivery, and ensure quality via SOP audits and execution of SOPs.
- Drive performance by presence, lead performance and improvement meetings, and manage related activities; handle production-related claims as needed.
- Lead ALPS relevant activities: TPM, 5S, PRP, SOP, Kaizen, and perform audits according to ALPS.
- Secure production capacity according to workload; continuously improve productivity.
- Lead and develop the people in the unit, empower your team, remove obstacles, connect with other functions, and provide the resources and clarity of purpose.
- Be a link between the factory and support functions for daily issues and to create order out of chaos.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent experience; relevant leadership and management skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with improvement tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen; project work experience is a plus.
- Be a result-driven leader who is present in the organization; strong communication, integrity, and financial basic knowledge; knowledge of products, manufacturing and processes.
Nice to Have
- Certified GB is a plus; project work experience.
