Job title: Production Team Lead
About the Role Nolato Contour is seeking Production Team Leads to supervise 12-hour day and night shifts on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on coordinating production, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced medical plastics environment. This position is on-site and reports to the Value Stream Manager.
What You'll Do
- Print work orders for rework or inspection of product
- Participate in discipline issues
- Identify problems and apply our problem-solving methodologies to improve processes
- Make decisions to minimize downtime
- Assign work to operators, including job rotations, based on skill level
- Document operator attendance
- Provide opportunities for operators to attend training
- Manage orientation, onboarding, and continuous training of operators as defined by the Value Stream Manager
- Perform visual inspections on manual machines or with new operators
- Work with other shifts for operator coverage during vacations or training
- Communicate to all production support across shifts
- Partner with the Lead Tech to run the shift
- Support and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions; complete all required training
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent desired
- Experience in a production environment is required
- First Responder Training recommended
- Must be able to read, follow work instructions and have basic math skills
- Ambitious, quality-minded, and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team
- Good attendance
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
