Job title: Production Systems Engineer

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Production Systems Engineer in West Chester, PA (hybrid) to help maintain manufacturing process documentation, create product routings in KBM, migrate data into CAQ, lead the QRB process, and perform cost analyses and vendor coordination to enable manufacturability and production readiness for new products.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate, controlled manufacturing process documentation in line with quality, regulatory and internal standards.
• Create and maintain product routings in KBM to reflect current manufacturing processes, resources and lead times.
• Support the migration of process documentation and manufacturing data into CAQ systems, ensuring version control and data integrity.
• Lead the Quote Review Board (QRB) process to assess manufacturability, cost feasibility and production readiness for new product opportunities.
• Develop detailed cost analyses covering labor, materials, equipment and external vendor contributions.
• Coordinate with external vendors to assess capabilities and integrate supplier processes into internal routing and costing models.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, production systems or a closely related engineering role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, process documentation and product routing.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems, with KBM experience highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cost estimation, manufacturability assessments and vendor evaluations.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills when working across engineering, production, planning and commercial teams.
