Your tasks
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Norman, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve optimal performance and productivity.
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to maximize efficiency
- Monitor production processes and adjust procedures to enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production team members
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes
- Conduct regular quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate materials
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for upper management
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision
- Strong knowledge of production management and lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient in quality control methodologies and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
- Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
