Job title: Production Supervisor
Production Supervisor responsible for supervising hourly manufacturing staff to ensure safe production of Precision Castparts products, meeting quality, productivity, and cost goals. This role reports to a Production Manager II or Area Manager and may involve handling hazardous waste.
What You'll Do
- Supervise hourly employees in the safe manufacture of company products, satisfying all quality and productivity requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
- Ensure adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions.
- Prime responsibility to safely manufacture a quality product with minimal scrap or rework, while meeting customer specifications.
- This position reports to either a Production Manager II or Area Manager.
- Incumbent(s) may be required to work with hazardous waste.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supervising hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of process control procedures, operating instructions, and quality control instructions.
- Commitment to safety and ability to work with hazardous waste if required.
- Ability to meet customer specifications and productivity targets.
- Willingness to be on-site in Portland, Oregon.
