About the Role Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide the day-to-day activities of repair technicians in one of our main Service hubs. This leadership role focuses on improving daily performance through direct supervision, proper staffing, equipment, and process adherence, while modeling Milwaukee’s culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate repair & reconditioning teams to meet production goals, while ensuring quality, safety, cost, inventory, and team objectives.
  • Provide technical support for repair technicians, including direct support and/or engagement with engineering when needed.
  • Perform supervisory and human resources functions such as work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, performance evaluations, and counseling.
  • Train, develop, motivate, counsel, and assist team members in work instructions, production standards, and the balanced flow of work and problem resolution.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding—assessing talent, interviewing, onboarding, and assimilating new employees as they transition from training to the plant floor.
  • Ensure fixtures, tools, and safety equipment are operable and used as designed; ensure work instructions are followed; urgently correct or escalate as required with engineering, training, leadership, etc.
  • Assign work and special projects to team members to develop experience and flexibility.
  • Monitor and audit daily production reports; resolve potential errors; review budget and forecast and factor into staffing decisions.
  • Embody servant-leadership; ensure team members have tools and supplies and expediting as required.
  • Act as backup for all team members, including the department Manager.
  • Facilitate team meetings and communications.
  • Contribute to department goals by performing related tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Undergraduate degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production environment; experience in electrical/mechanical service or repair operations is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years leading teams in a production environment; leadership in electrical/mechanical service or repair operations is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading fast-paced, detail-oriented, high-mix environments.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade ERP and production control software; Oracle and OnePoint highly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience with and use of production metrics, KPIs, and other reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with kaizen, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, process audits, and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Prior experience in electrical/mechanical service or repair operations (preferred).
