Job title: Production Supervisor
About the Role Reporting to the head of production for pulls, the supervisor will guide and develop production teams in line with production needs. The role is responsible for safety and for driving the teams' performance (quality, adherence, productivity, versatility/skills, problem solving) while managing variabilities. The position also covers organizing production, the workshop, and the required human and material resources, ensuring proper application of procedures and methods, and coordinating maintenance-related 5S and equipment upkeep.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support the development of production teams in line with production needs.
- Ensure safety and drive team performance across quality, adherence, productivity, versatility/skills, problem solving, and manage production contingencies.
- Organize production, the workshop, and human and material resources.
- Ensure correct application of procedures and methods within the team.
- Lead maintenance and 5S activities in the workshop in coordination with maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement and problem solving to enhance performance.
- Ensure clear transmission of instructions and reporting between teams, support services and management.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve production processes as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment (apparel or textiles preferred).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to foster safety and quality.
- Familiarity with 5S, equipment maintenance coordination, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate with support services and management.
- Ability to analyze problems, implement solutions, and drive performance.
