Production Supervisor - Food & Beverage

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity targets.
- Review production plans, manpower, material readiness, production priorities, and machine availability.
- Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks, missing parts, waiting time, quality issues, and other production interruptions.
- Coordinate material flow between upstream processes, assembly, testing, packing, and related production areas.
- Use SAP or another ERP/MRP system to monitor production orders, component requirements, material availability, stock balances, reservations, confirmations, and material movements.
- Verify material readiness before production and follow up critical shortages with related departments.
- Support cycle counting, physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and investigation of differences between physical stock and system records.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, downtime, rework, scrap, and material losses.
- Collect and analyze recurring production and quality problems and coordinate corrective actions.
- Apply problem-solving and continuous-improvement methods such as PDCA, 5-Whys, Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Lean, and 5S.
- Ensure that production activities comply with SOPs, Work Instructions, quality requirements, safety rules, and environmental controls.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 activities, including document control, audits, corrective actions, and operational compliance.
- Control production consumables, tools, PPE, indirect materials, and critical supplies, including stock monitoring and purchase planning.
- Coach Team Leaders and operators, maintain the Skill Matrix, and support employee multi-skill development.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports covering production performance, material readiness, inventory issues, quality problems, and improvement actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- A Higher Vocational Certificate with relevant manufacturing or material-control experience may also be considered.
- Experience in production supervision, production control, material control, production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations is preferred.
- New graduates with strong potential are welcome to apply.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system is strongly preferred.
- Experience in assembly, make-to-order manufacturing, retail cabinets, or refrigeration products is an advantage.
Required Skills

Preferred Knowledge

SAP functions related to production orders, material requirements, stock, inventory movements, production confirmation, or MRP.

Familiarity with COOIS, MB52, MD04, COGI, MIGO, MB25, or equivalent ERP/MRP functions.

Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, 5-Whys, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, or other digital production-reporting tools.
