Job title: Production Supervisor (evening shift)
About the Role Lead day-to-day operation of a production team to meet demand from external and internal customers, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency. You’ll drive reliability, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate with plant leadership across shifts.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily production to meet distribution needs, including shuttle runs and long-haul shipments across the country.
- Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs, ensuring all government and environmental regulations are followed.
- Ensure the team is fully trained and committed to safety and quality standards, working closely with the Compliance Manager on training efforts.
- Monitor production and manpower levels, anticipate issues, and help develop backup plans while keeping plant management in the loop.
- Coordinate with other shifts to ensure handoffs are smooth and communication is clear.
- Lead improvement plans around production processes, scheduling, overtime, and training; report progress to management.
- Manage equipment and product quality issues, maintain inventory, handle shipping documents, and support Lean and Operational Excellence projects.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Five+ years of experience in an industrial plant environment.
- At least two years of experience managing and developing employees.
- Willingness to work evening shifts.
