Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a detergent manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining product quality, supervising production staff, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily detergent production activities.

• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure production targets are achieved.

• Supervise production staff and allocate duties effectively.

• Monitor mixing, formulation, filling, packaging, and storage processes.

• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved formulations and quality standards.

• Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.

• Conduct production checks and coordinate with the Quality Control team.

• Maintain accurate production records and prepare production reports.

• Ensure production machinery and equipment are properly operated and maintained.

• Enforce workplace health, safety, hygiene, and chemical-handling procedures.

• Identify production challenges and implement corrective measures.

• Train and guide production employees on proper production procedures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable manufacturing standards.

• Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience in detergent, soap, chemical, FMCG, or related manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Proven experience supervising production teams.

• Good understanding of chemical handling, formulation, quality control, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with production machinery and manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
