About the Role This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading people, materials, equipment, and processes in order to achieve established safety, quality, delivery, and profit goals while maintaining positive employee relations. They will apply lean manufacturing tools and techniques to continuously improve safety, cost, quality, and efficiency in their areas. What You'll Do
- Lead a team of employees, set direction, and deploy resources to meet or exceed daily production schedules with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.
- Champion safety by ensuring the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and address safety non-compliance with direct reports.
- Monitor assembly production workflows against established standard operating procedures.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement by listening to the team and following up with appropriate actions.
- Promote positive employee relations through daily, open, direct, but respectful communications.
- Complete daily start-of-shift safety report-outs and end-of-shift reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to stay adaptable in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Ensure conformance with company policies related to attendance and performance. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree plus three (3) years of experience in Supervising/Manufacturing, or a High School diploma and five (5) years of experience in Supervising/Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and maintain safety and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; effective communication to foster positive employee relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 63,000 - 84,000 per year plus any applicable bonus. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
