Job title: Production Supervisor
About the Role The Production Supervisor will oversee a production line at Bachoco USA's Albertville facility. You will ensure safe, efficient production of first-quality products to meet customer specifications and maintain compliance with company policies, with reporting to the Superintendent.
What You'll Do
- Supervise a team of hourly employees on the assigned shift.
- Maintain safety, performance, yields, staffing, time and attendance, training, and corrective actions.
- Follow and enforce company policies, Food Safety Guidelines, and GMP procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all customer specifications and USDA requirements are met.
- Complete daily shift reports including employee time edits.
- Maximize yields and throughputs while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in interviews for open positions.
- Ensure safety and job-specific training on the assigned shift.
- Ensure the shift is prepared for customer and BRC audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Note: This is a safety sensitive position.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Relevant supervisory or lead experience in portioning or further processing operations preferred.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to build relationships and influence to get results.
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus.
