Job title: Production Supervisor
About the Role The Production Supervisor leads an hourly team on an assigned production line in Bachoco USA's poultry processing operations. This role ensures safe, efficient production of first-quality product that meets customer specifications and USDA requirements. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position.
What You'll Do
- Supervise a team of hourly employees on the assigned shift.
- Ensure safety, performance, yields, staffing, time and attendance, training, and corrective actions.
- Follow and enforce company policies, Food Safety Guidelines, and GMP procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all customer specifications and USDA requirements are met.
- Complete daily reporting for the shift including employee time edits.
- Maximize yields and throughputs while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in interviews for open positions; conduct safety and job-specific training; prepare the shift for customer and BRC audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Experience: Relevant supervisory or lead experience in portioning, debone, or evisceration poultry processing operations preferred.
- Skills: Critical thinking, effective written and verbal communication, ability to organize and prioritize work, and the ability to build relationships and influence to get results.
- Language: Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises up to 50 employees; ability to train, evaluate performance, and address issues.
- Technical: Knowledge of payroll systems, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
- Other: This is a safety-sensitive role; comfortable working in a wet/humid environment with moving equipment and loud conditions; ability to stand, walk, and perform the essential duties.
Nice to Have

- Prior poultry processing supervisory experience and a four-year degree are preferred.
