Production Superintendent

About the Role Saipem is seeking a Production Superintendent to join an onshore FPSO Kaminho project in Nantong, China. The role is responsible for the safe, efficient commissioning, start-up and operation of the Production Plant, process, gas compression systems, machinery, Central Control Room (CCR) and process instrumentation, in alignment with corporate QHSE policies. What You'll Do

• Operate process plant safely/efficiently in line with corporate policies/procedures
• Promote/implement Company QHSE Policies; maintain QHSE Management system; report/investigate accidents/incidents, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions, and other issues with safety impacts
• Carry out duties during emergency situations per Emergency Response Procedures; act as Area Authority for process plant; implement Permit to Work system; conform to Isolation Philosophy, Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis requirements
• Support HSE Manager in preparing HSE plan/procedures; ensure activities within area of responsibility comply with HSE requirements; contribute to Safety Walkdowns; participate in HAZOP reviews and Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
• Direct Pre-Comm., Comm., Start-up & Operation activities within own Operating Area; coordinate Licensor/Vendors at site; approve work orders as per Permit to Work; lead preparation of supervisors/operators for Comm./Start-up and normal operation; report gaps to be bridged; implement isolation control through Blinding and De-blinding Registers What We're Looking For
• Experience in safe commissioning, start-up and operation of production plants and related systems
• Knowledge of HSE policies, Permit to Work, isolation controls, risk assessment and Job Safety Analysis
• Ability to coordinate with Licensors/Vendors and lead teams through pre-start, start-up and normal operation phases
• Strong planning, reporting and procedures compliance skills; capability to operate within approved procedures and safety frameworks
• Willingness to work on an onshore project in Nantong, China in a multinational environment
