Job title: Production Shift Supervisor
About the Role As Production Shift Supervisor at BIC World, you will lead the Production Team to ensure the smooth operation of the Production Department, meeting production needs within predefined time and quality requirements. You will contribute to quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement while delivering on KPIs and collaborating with other departments to achieve global brand objectives.
What You'll Do
- Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift
- Contribute to quality assurance projects/processes/instructions by performing all duties/actions indicated in them
- Ensure compliance with the company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures
- Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specifics, and One-point Lessons (OPLs) on per-case basis
- Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on KPIs
- Collaborate with other department's supervisors and manage team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement, etc.)
- Check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under supervision, in accordance with company policy and prescribed procedures
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
- 2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to work in 3 shifts
