About this role
Job title: Production Reliability Engineer | Trading Team
About the Role As a Python Engineer on the trading team, you will own the reliability of real-time trading systems, address urgent production issues, manage software deployments, and build scalable, fault-tolerant automated systems. You will write and maintain a complex Python infrastructure, ensure the production environment is properly configured, and keep critical data sources healthy. You will also maintain a robust pre-release automated testing process and partner with the team to address issues that block trading or deployment of new code. Expect to be the primary point of contact for incidents, including outside normal hours. You’ll work with a small, collaborative group of quantitative traders and developers focused on well-designed code and automation. You’ll contribute to improving the team’s Python/C++ infrastructure, fix bugs, and review pull requests, while having freedom to pursue your own projects that advance the platform.
