About the Role LEONI is seeking a Production Planning Lead Specialist in Cairo to develop and manage production plans that meet customer demand on time while maintaining optimal finished goods inventory. The role coordinates with production, procurement and logistics to ensure material availability and OTIF deliveries, and maintains ERP data integrity to enable reliable planning and reporting. What You'll Do
- Develop and manage production plans to ensure customer demand is met on time while maintaining optimal finished goods inventory levels.
- Monitor customer demand and production performance, adjusting plans as needed to ensure product availability and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries by identifying potential supply risks early and coordinating alternative solutions when necessary.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to secure material availability, prevent shortages, and support efficient dispatch and transportation planning.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ERP data integrity for finished goods, ensuring reliable planning and reporting.
- Support product and technical changes by managing inventory and material transitions to avoid waste, obsolescence, and service disruptions.
- Analyze inventory and customer demand variances, manage excess stock reduction initiatives, support stock-taking activities, and prepare customer claims related to obsolete inventory or demand fluctuations. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience within Planning operations
- Hands-on experience with Data Analysis tools is considered a strong advantage
- Professional proficiency using English language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with high level of communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with a results-oriented mindset Nice to Have
