About the Role The Production Planning & Control Specialist coordinates production planning with an external filling site and ensures alignment between internal production lines and external schedules. The role focuses on short‑term production (0-7 days) for cans at the plant level within the EMEA region. What You'll Do
- Create and monitor production scheduling for one plant in the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with external schedules and uninterrupted production.
- Plan consumption of varnishes and inks used for production; coordinate activities with stakeholders; liaise with foreign plants exporting cans.
- Ensure production meets delivery plans; analyze the LineLoad planning tool monthly and report significant deviations to stakeholders.
- Coordinate performance with Production Managers and Quality Managers; maintain a finished goods stock to meet customer requirements at minimum cost; adhere to the main KPI (DOS).
- Review customer requests against stocks/production plans, and schedule production in agreement with customers.
- Supervise and coordinate, jointly with Graphics Coordinators, adjustments to existing designs and launches of new ones; participate in S&OP meetings.
- Monitor deviations from LineLoad, report demand/supply balance, and coordinate line operation with stakeholders. What We're Looking For
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through secondary school or work-related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to apply independent evaluation; substantial adaptation and modification of standard plant production techniques and criteria.
- Ability to operate and functionally use a computer; basic mathematical calculations.
- English and German fluency.
- SAP knowledge and experience in plant/production environments would be advantageous. Nice to Have

- Multilingual communication in English and German. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 51,400 – 74,000 EUR gross per year.
