About the Role
A role focused on production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement within Skyworks' manufacturing operations. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production execution and optimal inventory levels.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability; adjust plans as priorities shift or delays occur.
- Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to optimize stock and minimize waste.
- Analyze production data, performance metrics, and historical trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless communication and execution of production plans.
- Address production issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and capacity utilization to management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.
- Ensure that all planning activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or similar from a recognized institution.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
- Ability to gather relevant information systematically, seek input from others, use accurate logic in problem analysis, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to see the big picture and plan strategically to take the organization to the next level.
- 5-10+ years related experience in Wafer Planning; Semiconductor Industry preferred.
- Manufacturing/Production Control experience and strong understanding of the supply chain.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management (2-5 years preferred).
Nice to Have
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with advanced planning systems.
- PowerBI.
