About the Role Production Planner (m/f/d) at MT Aerospace, part of the OHB Space and Technology Group, focuses on planning and coordinating production for aerospace components and launcher programs. You will schedule production orders, optimize capacities, maintain master data, and support corporate planning and S&OP processes to enable timely launches. What You'll Do
- Schedule production orders; determining production sequences while considering deadlines, capacities, and material availability.
- Manage orders in SAP; forecast and monitor schedules; coordinate with relevant departments.
- Initiate corrective measures for schedule deviations; continuously optimize master data (safety stock, lead times, standard delivery times).
- Perform special analyses for corporate planning; contribute to defining and implementing the company-wide S&OP process.
- Optimize the planning process in SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA and collaborate with cross-functional teams. What We're Looking For
- Master craftsman/technician or degree in engineering.
- Several years of experience in scheduling/production control in mechanical machining, forming, assembly or welding (desirable).
- Very good knowledge of SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA, especially PP/SD/MM modules.
- Proactive, independent working style with hands-on mentality.
- Experience with supply chain processes and supplier management.
- Experience with manufacturing, machining and assembly of large components/assemblies for aerospace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Nice to Have
