Production Planner

LEONI AG is seeking a Production Planner to ensure accurate and efficient production scheduling, OTIF deliveries, and finished goods inventory management aligned with customer demand and the Master Production Schedule. This role requires close coordination with procurement, production and logistics to minimize obsolete stock and support on-time deliveries across ERP-based processes.

What You'll Do

• Ensure accurate and efficient production scheduling respecting finished goods inventory policy and minimize risk of obsolete stock
• Ensure OTIF deliveries in line with customer demand at the optimum cost
• Analyse customer demand, create a rough, workable production plan in line with the MPS and provide it to production
• Monitor production output to ensure FG availability in line with customer demand and FG inventory strategy
• Identify urgent products, escalate to responsible persons, and propose alternative delivery plans if deadlines may be missed
• Support dispatch process and outbound truck planning
• Maintain accuracy of finished goods inventory in the ERP system
• Coordinate with procurement for material availability to prevent shortages
• Support the technical change process to ensure material availability and avoid obsolescence
• Maintain regular contact with advanced FG warehouses for direct deliveries
• Prepare analyses to establish claims for obsolete stock and non-performance costs due to demand deviation
• Support the stock take process in the facility
• Track FG excess stock and take actions to reduce it

What We're Looking For

• Engineer or equivalent education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain
• Field of Study: Technical/Scientific
• Language: French & English
• IT: Microsoft Office
