Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Pharmacist to lead and optimize our agro-allied and agricultural production operations. In this role, you will oversee the formulation, processing, and agro-chemicals. You will ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and high-quality benchmarks to support agricultural productivity and animal health.
Job Description
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations across our agro-production plant, ensuring smooth workflow from raw material intake to final packaging.
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with GMP standards.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to test and release raw materials and finished agro-products.
- Manage the accurate compounding, blending, and processing of crop protection products based on approved batch records.
- Review batch processing records and support production documentation.
- Monitor production equipment performance, coordinating regular maintenance and calibration with technical teams.
- Investigate process deviations, batch discrepancies, or quality issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate documentation of batch records, production logbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to agricultural and veterinary regulatory standards, environmental policies, and company safety guidelines.
- Train, supervise, and mentor production operators, technicians, and plant workers to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize production yields, reduce material waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Enforce strict hygiene, bio-security, and safety protocols within the agro-processing environment.
- Support internal and external compliance audits from relevant agricultural and health regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 4 years experience.
Skills
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing practices, chemical handling, and agro-processing safety.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining high standard.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities for plant operations.
- Effective leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent technical documentation abilities.
- Familiarity with agricultural supply chains or veterinary product formulations is an added advantage.
