About the Role The Production Operator operates and monitors packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment to ensure products are packaged according to GMP, regulatory standards, and company procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is in Washing & Coating and involves operating washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support washing and coating processes and produce rubber stoppers according to productivity standards. What You'll Do
- Work under the guidance of Supervisor or Crew Leader to perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition and the work area is clean, safe and organized.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Duly follow organizational and work-specific instructions, attend applicable trainings and meetings.
- Fulfill tasks efficiently and meet productivity standards; organize and perform work effectively.
- Abide by safety regulations at all times; promote safety standards and identify potential safety risks to report to the line manager.
- Demonstrate initiative to exceed performance; flexibly adopt changes in tasks, workplace, or team; work reliably and keep agreements; assume responsibility for tasks.
- Be open, respectful, and helpful; contribute to problem solving in the team and share knowledge.
- Participate in department or quality team meetings; suggest improvements and help implement them.
- Train new operators/trainees as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One month of in-plant training (TQM, SPC, GMO, SOPs) combined with six months of on-the-job training.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand operating procedures and complete related documentation.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Basic computer skills.
- Availability for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.).
