About the Role Volt is hiring multiple Production Operators for immediate hire in Fremont, CA. This role supports moving servers from the assembly line to testing areas, performing basic tests, and documenting results to support the QA process. It is a full-time temporary-to-hire position with multiple shift options and overtime as needed. What You'll Do
- Move servers from the assembly line to testing areas (walking about 10,000 steps per day)
- Lift servers in racks to test
- Conduct simple tests on servers (training provided)
- Monitor test progress during the testing cycle
- Document results into the system and escalate failures to the debug team
- Repeat failures/issues and route to debugging
- Support scheduling with overtime as needed, including Saturdays What We're Looking For
- 3 months of manufacturing experience preferred but willing to consider candidates with no experience
- Basic English required
- Good computer skills
- Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug test
- Physically able to lift servers and walk long distances (approximately 10,000 steps per day) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $21.50 – $23.50 per hour
- Overtime as needed, including Saturdays
