About the Role
The Hershey Company is seeking a Production Operator for its West Hershey plant. You will work in processing and packaging across multiple lines, ensuring food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do

Operate processing and/or packaging equipment.

Operate a forklift.

Perform quality checks (metal detectors, date codes, weight systems) and follow Autonomous Maintenance Programs (cleaning, inspecting, lubricating equipment).

Observe safety procedures, GMP, and housekeeping standards.

What We're Looking For
-
Minimum Qualifications: At least 18 years of age; Authorized to work in the United States; High School diploma/GED; ability to read, write, and comprehend English; basic mathematics; basic computer knowledge; must be flexible to work any shift (1st/2nd/3rd) and varying shift lengths; available to work weekends, holidays and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including GMP, SQF, Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.

Starting Payrate: $26.45 per hour. Manufacturing Incentive Plan eligible. Shift differentials and overtime potential. Eligibility to bid for higher graded positions after Day 1.
