Production Operator (Onsite)

About the Role Join Clariant's Huizhou site as a hands-on Production Operator responsible for operating, controlling and monitoring running production equipment, recording measurements and analyses, and contributing to safety and quality in daily operations. What You'll Do

• Operate, control and monitor production equipment and facilities; record measurements and analysis results; perform initial analysis for out-of-spec metrics and report causes promptly.
• Inspect and monitor on-site equipment, instruments and pipelines; correct or report faults.
• Supply raw materials, auxiliaries and recyclables to the process via manual or feeding equipment.
• Clean, sweep and clear the production area after finishing production or packaging; assist with daily records, monitoring and deviation handling.
• Assist in safety or quality incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• On-site loading/unloading operations and utilities equipment operation; raw material unloading and product packaging.
• Learn PID and various operating manuals; become proficient in locating equipment and understanding proper operation and principles.
• On-site utilities operation; including use of explosion-proof forklifts, battery forklifts and high-reach forklifts.
• Assist with warehouse inbound/outbound management, temperature and humidity control, and zoning for inspected, finished and non-conforming goods. What We're Looking For
• High school or technical secondary chemical engineering related education; 2+ years in the chemical industry; able to read basic English.
• Safety-minded with knowledge of 5S and procedural adherence. Nice to Have
• Willingness to learn PID and operating manuals; understanding equipment locations and operation principles.
• Forklift operation experience (explosion-proof, battery, high-reach).
• Warehouse management experience (inbound/outbound, temperature/humidity control, inspection, release, non-conforming goods).
