About the Role The Production Operator will be responsible for all aspects of production line operation to meet established quality standards in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. What You'll Do
- Work safely at heights on platforms and/or ladders; follow proper safety procedures and regulations
- Monitor assigned equipment for malfunctions and troubleshoot when necessary
- Train new employees on equipment operations and procedures
- Keep work area clean and orderly; comply with ISO requirements
- Input data into SAP system for tracking purposes; maintain accurate records and logs as required
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns
- Maintain appropriate documentation for all repairs performed by the technician
- Ensure that materials used in manufacturing processes are free from defects and contamination
- Assist with maintenance and repair activities as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and write English documents
- Basic math skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of computers and how they operate
- Experience working within a lean manufacturing environment
