Production Operator

Job Description

Position Summary

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by operating assembly and packaging equipment while helping the team achieve goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Report safety concerns and actively participate in plant safety initiatives.

• Follow all Quality and GMP requirements.

• Operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment.

• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance.

• Conduct quality inspections according to established specifications.

• Accurately complete production reporting and documentation.

• Manage and maintain inventory as needed.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the BD Production System (BDPS).

• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
